Preserving Cultural Heritage, Arabic short stories book discussion and signing In an effort to preserve the cultural heritage of the Middle Eastern Community in San Diego, NSD- Newcomers Support & Development in collaboration with the Visual Art Center hosted the Iraqi writer/author Haydar Audeh for the discussion and signing of his recently published book (Chicago Cloud). Short stories in Arabic by the lens of an Iraqi Immigrant taxi driver in San Diego. Within the short stories, there are many references to famous landmarks from the Middle East with detailed descriptions and compassion to U.S. landmarks and places.
حفاظا على الهوية الوطنية و اللغة الام للمغتربين و المثقفين من أبناء الجالية في بلاد المهجر, اقامت منظمة تطوير بالتعاون مع مركز الفن ألبَصَري أمسية مناقشة و توقيع كتاب (غيمة شيكاغو) للكاتب حيدر عودة ألكتاب هو قصص قصيرة ترويها الشخصية الرئيسية (سائق تكسي عراقي) عن يومياته و الاحداث المثيرة التي واجهته خلال عمله في مدن عديدة أمريكية. تتخلل صفحات الكتاب الكثير من الاشارات الوصفية الرائعة عن أماكن في امريكا و الوطن العربي.
