Behavior Interventionist (San Diego County)

Behavioral Interventionist Position

The responsibilities of a Behavior Interventionist include, but are not limited to:
– Provide individual instruction as described in the client’s treatment plan, IFSP, or IEP.
– Assist in developing and implementing behavior support and intervention plans, strategies, and techniques.
– Gather, compile, and prepare data for statistical and operational reports.
– Participate in staff development and training programs as directed.
– Maintain client confidentiality. Client personal information is not to be revealed or discussed outside of the work environment.

*This is a part time position with the possibility of full-time in the future.

Minimum requirements:
– Fluent in English language
– Possess a B.A. or B.S. degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Development, Elementary Education, Special Education, or related field
– Must provide proof of a TB test within the last six months.
– Must be able to clear a Livescan/background check.
– Must have valid California driver’s license.
– Must have own transportation and ability to travel within and around San Diego County.

Desired Qualifications:
– Fluency in language other than English (Arabic & Spanish A+)
